Let’s start with what has to be the most famous gambling city, Las Vegas. Top 10 Casino Travel Destinations Las Vegas, Nevada If you play your cards right, you may just end up paying for your holiday. To help inspire your next casino holiday, I have rounded up the world’s top 10 casino travel destinations. There’s something like 10,000 casinos worldwide, many offering up free perks such as free meals and drinks as well as free casino credit. Whether you’re into blackjack and slots or not, casinos still offer something for nearly every traveler, and if Southeast Asia, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and America’s Southwest all have something in common it’s their incredible casinos. Many casino hotels and resorts offer up nonstop entertainment, delicious restaurants, sporting events, relaxing spas, plenty of shopping, and luxurious rooms and suites to retire in each night. Casinos around the world attract tourists by offering much more than simply gambling. No more coffee in room, have to go down by elevators to get a cup. There was still many people in line to eat, so we were not at the end of breakfast time. I didn't eat the breakfast but the rest of my crew did and said the omelets were good. I am not a breakfast person so prefer a bagel and fruit. Went down to the breakfast, was very busy, needs someone stocking breakfast items at all times!! Was out of juice, milk, butter, fruit, danishes, bagels etc. Now onto the hotel- Very clean, comfortable beds, needs different pillows or more options. The guy who worked the table was very nice, had much patience with me as I am just learning how to play. We just went over to the other bar whom had a much nicer bartender. We had 1 bartender that acted like we were a inconvenience to him, no smile, he wanted to chat with the other waitress. The bar staff definitely needs some customer service improvement. So of course that makes it even more fun. My husband and I both did well playing slots. Was here on a Tuesday night so was not busy at all. Very clean, most of the staff were friendly. Jianming Li, 53, of Delaware, and Jun Zhang, 41, of New York, were indicted last week by a Middlesex County Grand Jury on the charges of Cheating Under the Gaming Act (two counts each), Conspiracy (two counts each), and Larceny by a Single Scheme (one count each). In the other incident, a Framingham man and a Natick man were indicted in connection with an unrelated assault and battery at the casino. In one incident, an Encore casino dealer, a former casino dealer from Maryland, and a third individual from Philadelphia were indicted in connection with a cheating scheme that netted the group a total of $23,500 over two nights. Five individuals were charged last week in two separate incidents at Encore Boston Harbor, including a cheating scheme and a stabbing at the casino, Attorney General Maura Healey announced. We arrived way early, not knowing what to expect waiting line wise. The buffet was to have run from 5:00 to 10:00. We decided to visit Hardrock Cincinnati, Ohio, on New Years Eve, for the special snow crab and prime rib buffet advertised at 49.00 per person. That was our first and LAST visit to this inconsiderate, petty, greedy, poorly-ran establishment. To be fair, the music was perfect and the place was relatively clean, but we concluded as a consensus that none of us will ever go back there again. The whole point is that we walked in the door prepared to entertain ourselves with the $35,000 we brought, yet ended up gambling it in Columbus because Hard Rock had no respect for first-time visitors. It was so insulting that we almost turned around and walked out the door! However, we did play for a few minutes for $200, then left and went back to Columbus. We literally drove all the way from Columbus to Cincinnati (109 miles) to explore this casino only to be offerred $10 free play for our first visit. First, the casino gave us $5 food credit to use at any of the six restaurants available although there was literally no entrees that we could buy for $5. It was our first time visiting this casino and as first time visitors, we were APPALLED by the way we were treated. My wife and I went to this casino with a group of friends and $35,000 to play with. I highly recommend staying in the hotel and playing in the poker room! I very much enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning over and over. There is a beverage area in the main casino for tea, coffee, and sodas. Servers will take orders for food and drinks. The poker room is GREAT! They provide munchies. There is a steak house, which I didn't have the time to try. The only thing that was missing from the room was a full-length mirror, which is a necessity for women. There was a small, pull-out mirror to make it easier for applying make-up. The bathroom counter is large and easily held my cosmetics. The bathroom is huge, with a walk-in shower, that I loved. The room is spacious, comfortable, and easy to maneuver. There was a refrigerator, but no microwave. The TV swivels so that you're able to watch it from the bed, the chair in the corner, or from the desk. Wow! I loved the hotel room! The bed is so comfy. |
